i was talking to a witness who is still in and she said they gave a talk at the hall, about submissive wives and were told that if the husband wants to go somewhere for the holiday and the wife want to go somewhere else she will need to be respectful and do what the husband wants.
and she can go on her prefered choice of holiday the following year...... .
the husband is to make all major decisions such as where they will .
Now I KNOW....it sounds like doppelganger training for the Steppford Wives...heheheh

visiting a few jw/xjw forums lately, i'm reminded of phrases that have been never been brought to mind for 25 years.
(king of the north, jonadabs, etc, etc.
) i got to thinking again about that infamous old harlot, babylon the great.
The WTBS is no better than the white-washed graves her predecessors were.....she "spills blood" too......in disf'ing....and scatters families.....and money-changing?....it changes from the "fleeced ones" hands to her hands....then watch how the WTBS "generously" LOANS money back to the congregations (who gave the WTBS the dang money in the FIRST place) to build kinkdom halls in which NO ONE will be allowed to live or benefit from in any tangible way and for which all glory and compensation goes back to the WTBS....

well, nisan 14 is rolling around again, and i am going to partake at the memorial.. when i was a goodstanding jw last year, i really thought of the relationship i had with the christ, and partook, and they all had a cow.
but i had a good standing, so they pretty much left me alone.... well, surprise!!
i am now disfellowshipped, and some inner voice tells me to go back there one last time and partake, i am not doing this to be a pain, but to show the new congregation that i had belonged to, who i am, and to give others the courage to examine themselves, and their personal relationship with the christ.. i believe disfellowshipping is unscriptural, so i am confidant!!
ROFL! Blackout, your story is hysterical.....
I considered what to do for the first memorial after my own dissf'ing (which I deliberately set up forcing them to do it).....decided to buy some wine and make my own unleavened bread.....
But funny thing....it gradually began to dawn on me that it wasn't really necessary to partake anymore....I was free at last, my salvation had come, I could now have a life....and if you look at all the problems, growing in number as we post, that are being "aired" media-wise against the WTBS....I feel it's pretty safe to say that "suddenly destruction"....IS...."upon them"....It looks like that's the way the ball's bouncing to me....just hope I'm not guilty of premature articulation.

i don't know if this subject has been touched on before - i didn't know what section to put it under.. i have to go to the meeting this sunday - basically emotional blackmail by my husband (long story).
i have suffered from panic attacks in the past.
when i don't go to the meetings, and my family do, i get very panicky and breathless.
Rebel, all I can tell ya is that my blood pressure went down to normal within a week after I left the borganization never to return...

what should be included in your ideal-guy-kit?.
i also started a thread for the guys to put their wishes on a list, but what do you want from a guy?.
greven
My ideal man would come with a sign painted on his forehead that reads: "Hi! I'm your ideal man!" cause I probably wouldn't recognize him if I found him/he found me...

most articles in the publications recommended physical punishment, (corporal) when disciplining children.
the scripture says that "he will not die" if you beat him.
so many parents literally beat their children.
More like regretful over the *things* I fussed at them for and the activities I didn't allow them to engage in...(sigh)

Yup, sometimes...but then....I've always been H.U.M.A.N. (headupmy*ssnow)...heheheheh

have you ever had a horoscope be so accurate that it gave you goosebumps?
here lately they have all been hitting close to home.
today's was particularly right on.
YES! By Sydney Omarr in 1976 for a 1977 pregnancy....and lately some of them have been vaguely "on track".....
However, I really don't put much stock in foretelling the future via horoscopes...BUT I found Linda Goodman's Star Signs to be extremely interesting with a potpourri of info that transcends the daily tripe.....especially some of the experiments with plants and sounds (not necessarily together) of which she wrote.
